Focus 10k Fundraising

The Focus 10k is a fundraising event supporting young people with complex disabilities. As well as having fun taking part we ask you to show your support by raising at least £20 (or £10 for our Mini Mile runners).

You may have already made a donation yourself when you bought your ticket at the checkout. If you did, thank you!

How to make your £20

Could you sacrifice a week of takeout coffees and donate the difference? Or maybe you could go without that Friday night takeaway. Or how about baking a cake and selling slices to your workmates?

As for our Mini Milers, how about washing a couple of cars, or putting aside a bit of pocket money for a few weeks?

How your £20 can support children and young people at Chailey Heritage Foundation

It doesn’t seem like much but your £20 could pay for things such as:

  • Two birthday presents for children who live at Chailey year-round.
  • Craft materials so that children at our Holiday Clubs can take part in fun  activities with their friends.
  • A target for children to aim at when they are playing boccia.

If everyone that takes part in this year’s Focus 10k raises £20, we’d raise enough to run Aquamovers, our pre-school swimming sessions for children with disabilities, for a WHOLE YEAR!

£20 might not really seem like much but for the children and young people at Chailey Heritage Foundation all those £20’s add up, and they really can help to change lives.
