Chailey Heritage Residential offers residential provision for children and young people up to 19 years old with complex physical disabilities and associated health needs. We offer a range of flexible and bespoke packages of support from living with us all year to weekly/fortnightly boarding, termly, short breaks and post-operative care.
We believe that every young person should have the opportunity to fulfil his or her potential, no matter what the challenges. The majority of the young people are in full-time education onsite at Chailey Heritage School, but we also support young people attending other schools.
With our specialist facilities, our specially trained teams who are passionate about what they do, and our partnership working with Chailey Clinical, our provision is second-to-none.
Working With Families
We work closely with parents right from the very first informal visit and through the duration of their child's stay with us. We keep in touch with families so we are able to work together to achieve the best outcomes for their child. Young people are supported to contact their family using FaceTime/Skype, or by using our hands-free telephones. If a parent wishes to stay on-site whilst visiting their young person or whilst they settle in, we offer studio apartments to rent at an affordable rate.
