Having been associated with the school through her daughter Mollie, who attended until the age of 19 and now enjoys attending the Life Skills Centre and The Hub, Alison wanted to give something back to the organisation that provided so much support. Alison's background is in accountancy, recently retiring from her position as Assistant Director of Finance at Christ Church University. During her career she has also managed Human Resources and Payroll. Alison is Vice Chair of Governors and is Chair of the Estates & Environmental Safety Committee.
