How Your Donations Help


Below are examples of how we spend your fundraising. Large or small, the funds you raise will make a difference.

  • £5 buys a sensory toy to help young people with visual, hearing or other impairments.
  • £15 could buy a birthday present for a young person who lives with us.
  • £40 could pay for a music therapy session for young people with little or no speech.
  • £70 could fund a wheelchair football for participation in after-school wheelchair football sessions.
  • £100 could fund games and art activity materials for our school holiday clubs. 
  • £140 could fund a switch activated device for table cricket and other inclusive sports, to enjoy the benefits of participating in team games.
  • £250 could fund a knitting machine, for young adults to take part in creative art sessions.
  • £400 could fund a New Age Kurling set and ramp to enable participation in disability-inclusive  competitions.
  • £400 could fund an Aquamovers+ session for pre-school children, giving them the chance to participate in physical activity with support from our therapists. It also allows social interaction for isolated parents in similar circumstances.
  • £1,500 could fund a walker, for exercise out of a wheelchair.
  • £2,000 could fund our on-site therapeutic horse riding service for a week, to allow excercise, building of muscular strength and development of confidence.
