Hanbury Slapstick Comedy

10 February 2021

The young people in Jemma’s class (H2) have been looking at physical comedy and slapstick as part of Drama. They chose if they wanted to have props, sounds, music or actions to help put together short sketches to show to each other. The young people were in school, the bungalows or at home.

Holly’s sketches included making someone jump and crazy cooking. Betty planned a piece at home tripping up her brother. Lucy did some chasing and an SEA had a cream pie in the face (or on her shield) plus there was some questionable sounds coming from Lucy in the last sketch.

It helped everyone to have some fun and laugh at each others antics! The young people helped with planning and reviewing.
