The Holiday Club

The Holiday Club is a fun environment available to Chailey Heritage School pupils. It takes place during school holidays and provides a space for pupils to hang out with their friends and take part in a wide range of seasonal, creative and social activities.

There is no pressure at the Holiday Club – just come and chill, and enjoy yourself.

Supported by staff members who know them well, pupils have a familiar face to be with during the day. Alongside their friends, they are able to take part in a range of activities and make use of Chailey’s specialist on-site services, some examples of activities include:

  • Seasonal activities, such as Christmas pantomimes, Carol Concerts, Easter Egg Hunts and more.
  • Art and Craft.
  • Silent Discos.
  • Games, scavenger hunts and competitions.
  • Farm sessions.
  • Swimming.
  • Cooking.
  • Messy Play.
  • Music.
There’s always something fun going on at the Holiday Club, it’s so chilled and is a lovely break from school for the pupils, its great to see everyone going home with a smile at the end of each day!

The Holiday Club falls under Chailey Heritage Foundation’s Specialist Services Department and is run by staff who are passionate about facilitating amazing experiences in a safe, fun and friendly environment.

I am interested, what do I do next?

The dates of each club vary depending on factors such as public holidays. However, typically The Holiday Club run on:

  • 3 days during the Easter Holiday.
  • 6 days during the Summer Holiday.
  • 3 days during the Christmas Holiday.

Clubs run from 10:00 – 15:30 each day with a maximum of 12 spaces per day.

When the dates for an upcoming club are confirmed, letters are sent to school parents / guardians with a return slip to request dates for their child to attend. A deadline for slips to be returned by is detailed on the letter.

Staffing is provided by Chailey Heritage School staff, so that each pupil is supported by a member of staff who knows them well, places are only confirmed if staffing arrangements can be made via CHF.
