On Thursday the 12th of November, Johanna Buremo, Barbara Burke and Alan Loader from SEB London presented a cheque for £35,162.50 to Sally-Anne Murray, Development Director at Chailey Heritage Foundation in East Sussex. This money was raised at SEB’s charity Shoot at Bisley, Surrey in June this year.
Much of the money raised has gone towards the purchase of Eye-Gaze computers which allows our pupils to access a computer through eye movement. It gives pupils who find conventional access too difficult, access to a computer using their eyes as the mouse cursor to input information, move images, make choices and control applications on computers and on the internet.
This wonderful donation from SEB will allow us to buy some of the highly specialist IT equipment our young people need to pursue their potential and access every possible opportunity for Independence. We are extremely grateful for the generosity of SEB and the guests who supported the Shoot, and for their invaluable contribution towards our work
