Some of the young people in Hanbury enjoyed a trip to a show in the Brighton Fringe Festival. They went along to a sensory musical version of “The Tempest”, which was fully inclusive for those with special and/or complex needs. They experienced a twangling, painty, touchy, feely, smelly, and magical adventure delivered by enthusiastic and fun performers who used sign language as well as songs and rhymes!
Last year some of these young people acted in their own production of “The Tempest” in the Shakespeare festival for Schools, so they knew the story!
It was great to be a part of the Festival – especially as some of the young people will be performing music soon in the Brighton Pavilion Gardens. Save the date! 21st May at 11.30am!
