Holly has always loved riding!Joining Chailey Heritage as a young pupil, Holly is now an external customer whose love for horses has continued to grow. Holly does a combination of Hippotherapy and Therapeutic riding and spends most of her session riding her favourite horse, Todd, independently, with side-walkers close by for safety, she does the rest completely solo.Lead Hippotherapy Practitioner at Chailey, Nicola Montoya was keen to find a new challenge for Holly, allowing her to excel in her passion.Holly’s Mum Gabby highlights how Holly loves riding. Nicky, Michelle and the team have given her so much confidence and she’s always very proud of herself afterwards After searching for Holly’s next challenge, the hippotherapy team discovered local EquiFun clubs "Virtual Dressage" series of summer competitions and Holly was keen to learn everything she needed to know to compete.The test involved Holly riding certain movements and shapes around the arena, using the letter markers for reference, trotting and stopping in the correct places. The riding team helped her to learn the test and once everyone was happy, submitted the video to be judged.Nicky highlights how Holly was so absolutely thrilled when she received her score sheet and rosette she was bouncing in her chair, it made us all very emotional seeing how much it meant to her.
