A team of talanted sewers from Hartfield have been very busy making scrub bags for medical and care staff across Sussex. With a batch being delivered to Chailey last week, the team have produced somewhere between 800-1000 bags and have supplied several local hospitals, including Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead and Crowborough Hospital as well as our staff.
Thank you to Ann, Liz and the team.
Jackie Hall, Director of Social Care said:
“We are very grateful indeed to Ann, Liz and their team for this very kind donation. It has come at just the right time for us as the guidance has changed for care homes and we will now need more PPE than we first thought. The kindness in the community is quite staggering – from scrub bags to hand sanitiser to various forms of PPE, we wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to all those involved in helping the Charity during this crisis.”
