In the spirit of Halloween, our residents at Chailey Heritage Foundation were given the task of creating a pumpkin masterpiece. All bungalows were invited to take part in this and to get messy and get carving.
The pumpkins were collected today at midday and given a number so that it was totally anonymous which pumpkin belonged to which bungalow. They were judged by three independent judges who were all in complete agreement. The outright winner was number four!!
Each pumpkin really was amazing with lots of imagination put into the design. Some bungalows had carved multiple pumpkins so there was a difficult decision as to which masterpiece to submit! However the winner was carved by a very proud Christopher and the pumpkin is fantastic! Well done, Christopher, for your excellent vomiting pumpkin which - one of the judges pointed out - is eating its own eye! Nasty!
