On Wednesday 15th May 2019 Chailey Heritage School entered teams into the Sussex Youth Parallel Games. On the Boccia squad was Mathew, Molly and team captain Toby.
Team Chailey competed against seven other schools from around Sussex, within a pool of 15. All players played fantastically and ended up coming in 10th place, well done Boccia squad!
The New Age Kurling squad consisted of Harriet and Ellie. The team played a total of eight matches, with 12 schools entering this competition. Team Chailey came in 5th - our highest ever ranking in a sports competition!
Both Keelie and Holly entered into the Dance workshop, where they spent the day with eight other schools and volunteers learning a routine to perform in the closing ceremony. Both Keelie and Holly were centre stage for the dance and performed the routine beautifully in front of over 300 people.
It was a fantastic day all round, all players and teams performed incredibly well.
