This week Chailey Heritage School were visited by some talented musicians from Imberhorne School, East Grinstead.
As well as being a good experience hearing some live music, it was also a great opportunity for the pupils at Chailey Heritage to interact with a peer group from the wider community.
After some energetic rock n roll classics including songs by The Kinks and ELO, and a lovely acoustic performance, the children and young people from both schools mingled together. Our pupils were keen to explore the Imberhorne students’ instruments, and our visitors facilitated this beautifully. Everything from the piano to the guitars to the drums were investigated thoroughly.
