In the first week of July students from Hanbury at Chailey Heritage School enjoyed their enrichment week.
On one of the days pupils experienced being taken to different countries around the world. To begin with the young people had to go through a make shift airport customs. Then they visited Antarctica, Australia, India and Spain, getting their passport stamped along the way.
Other activities during the week included sports day, where everyone received a medal, and an art workshop involving local artist Bazza West, demonstrating mouth painting. The students also took part in drama, music and science workshops.
A rock choir came in and performed for the young people on the Friday. With a festival vibe, the week ended on a high and it was clear that the young people had enjoyed themselves.
