In mid-August we were joined by local after school club, Extratime, with a group visit to Patchwork Farm, our therapeutic care farm. Extratime is an inclusive after school club for special needs and mainstream children aged 5-16 years, based in Brighton and West Sussex.
The children were very excited to be on the farm and took the opportunity to say hello to all the animals. After a quick meet and greet, the children had the chance to see some of the animals up close.
They were treated to a great sensory and learning experience as they were able to feel different parts of the chickens, ducks and guinea pigs.
Thank you to Extratime for coming to Patchwork Farm – we hope you enjoyed your visit!
