On Sunday 22nd September The Weald Classic Vehicle Club held ‘Classics in Town’ in Burgess Hill town centre. Despite the showery weather there was a good turn out with lots of classic and performance cars and motor bikes on display alongside some classic commercial vehicles. Chailey Heritage Foundation were the chosen charity for the event and we were there with our information gazebo, a tombola and a raffle, manned by our volunteers. Burgess Hill Community Radio were on hand and we had a chat with their roving reporter on the day.
The event raised just over £200, which will help us to continue to support young people with complex disabilities.
A big thank you to the Weald Classic Vehicle Club, everyone who visited our gazebo and the volunteers who helped out on the day.
