We went to the Big Smoke on the Michael Caine!
Big shout out to the wonderful staff at Haywards Heath, East Croydon and Victoria train stations!
On Wednesday 10th July 6 pupils and staff from the Seymour department went to Westminster Abbey for Cockney Rhyming Slang of the Bible
We all travelled on trains from Haywards Heath to Victoria. The station staff could not have been more helpful, in fact they made us feel like royalty! We were put on an earlier train, which had more carriages, just to make sure that there would be plenty of space for us. We then changed at East Croydon and Alan, one of the station staff, was totally brilliant! He made sure that we were first on the train and stopped other passengers from using up the space by asking them to board at another part of the train! We could not have had a better service if we had travelled first class! He was a first class geezer – innit!
