Chailey Heritage Foundation recently held two events in our very own chapel, St Martin’s.
On Saturday 14th September the chapel was open for the public to visit. We welcomed over 30 visitors, many of whom had stories and memories to share about Chailey Heritage Foundation. We were also privileged to be joined by Ros Black, author of ‘Grace Kimmins and her Chailey Heritage’, who gave a free talk about the charity’s founder, Dame Grace Kimmins.
On the following day (Sunday 15th September), we hosted a concert performed by The Baroque Collective Singers. Conducted by John Hancorn, they gave a stunning performance of Faure’s Requiem, with Organist John Marsh and Soprano Imogen Moore completing the talented line-up.
Thank you to everyone who joined us! The funds raised from both events will help us continue to support young people with complex disabilities.
