A huge thank you to Sarah Mather and her team of friends who climbed Scafell Pike on Sat 7th December, raising funds in aid of Chailey Heritage Foundation. Scafell Pike in Cumbria, England’s highest mountain at 978 metres, is quite a challenge taking over 8 hours to climb. Add to that the weather wasn’t great and the teams’ tour guide cancelled last minute so they had to read the maps themselves!
Sarah and her team have raised an amazing £1,200 for Christmas presents for children staying with Chailey Heritage Residential. The funds will be used to buy specialised sensory toys and gifts making Christmas extra special for the children over the holidays.
Thanks again Sarah and Merry Christmas!
