The performance included a lot of sensory content as well as participation from the students and teachers. Many opportunities occurred during this performance to develop the pupils sensory skills such as using: lights, instruments, music, tinsel and puppets. All of this helped to tell the Christmas story. For the students, there were opportunities for spending time with peers as well as some young adults who were new to them – taking turns – engaging with an activity and exploring communication methods throughout. We hope to see Christmas for Kids again next year!
