Who? - Tee Tee
Tee Tee has made excellent progress in settling at the Life SKills Centre having recently transitioned from Chailey Heritage School to Futures. Prior to the lockdown he was a regular visitor to the Life Skill Centre.
What has been achieved?
As a skilled switch user with a visual impairment, Tee Tee requires extra support when accessing the computer, which includes the use of a bespoke Grid 3 set up that speaks out options for Tee Tee to then choose from.
With the specialist support of his keyworker Mat and our ICT coordinator Paul, we have been exploring giving Tee Tee more control and choice in what he can do with his switch by experimenting with enabling him to voice activate Google Assistant using Grid Player on an Ipad. We hope this will enable Tee Tee to greatly expand the number of things he can do independently.
Well done Tee Tee for your commitment and perseverance . A big thanks also goes out to his dedicated team of support workers who always go the extra mile and ensure Tee Tee pursues his full potential!
We look forward to welcoming you back to carry on with the great work Tee Tee. Well done!!
