We were delighted to be joined by two lovely volunteers from 1st Central, a local insurance company, on 22nd August.
As soon as they arrived, they got stuck into the task of building a shelter for the sheep who live on Patchwork Farm, our on-site therapeutic care farm.
Given the freedom to design the shelter in whichever way they wanted to, the volunteers made a brilliant ‘bar’ for the sheep. Inside the structure is a shelf where hay can be put, to encourage the sheep to search for their food. We think it’s fantastic!
We’d like to say a huge thank you to the volunteers from 1st Central. We’re very grateful for all your hard work and hope that you enjoyed your time at Chailey Heritage Foundation.
