Three members of M2 have been using their switches to independently control their chairs.
Archie now has his own powered base and has learnt to move his chair forward using the small movement against his specially adapted switch.
Lyra has recently changed from using a foot switch to a head switch which gives her more control, this week for the first time she tried out two head switches to twirl in two different directions.
Max joined the school 5 weeks ago and has already demonstrated that he can use cause and effect to press his switch to twirl. Powered mobility gives our young people a huge sense of achievement and allows them to have some control over their lives.
