Lions 'It's a special knockout'

12 March 2020

Dressed in their team strip of red, the Futures’ team “Red Bandits” stole the show at It’s a Special Knockout as hosted by local Lions clubs on Sunday 8th March. Each team member had to do the job of at least 3 people as they had the smallest team there, nevertheless they came an amazing 3rd place! There were team games like a Hook a Duck relay, and Hoola Hut where a hoola hoop was passed over the heads of the team, until the person at the end fixed the hoops together to make an unusual structure. There was a disco at half time, when Lucy was able to free drive and greet lots of new people whilst dancing to Baby Shark.

Support worker Emily says “We all had a brilliant time and the girls didn’t stop smiling from start to finish. We loved the games and the support from [The Lions] when helping us with some of them. The girls were so proud of their medals that they won and really happy they won 3rd place.”
