Some of the young people in the Hanbury Department had a fabulous time at this year’s South of England show – they were able to get close enough to stroke cows, look at and feel different water and garden features, explore a variety of sheep fleeces (and watch someone using a spinning wheel), taste and eat different foods and drinks, touch, feel, smell and look at a whole variety of different plants and flowers……to name but a few things! Phew!
Oh and some of us watched a Saxon re-enactment and we found an amazing dragon! (What sort of farm animal is that?!)
There was so much to explore! We had a fabulous time!
