Would you Adam and Eve it?
6 young people from Hanbury department caught a Micheal Caine (train) from Haywards Heath up to London Victoria to go to Westminster Abbey gardens for performances of ‘Cockney Rhyming slang of the Bible’ written by the talented Keith Park.
We all met a host of wonderful young people and their support staff from other special schools and we enjoyed joining in with the rhymes in the beautiful sunshine. We were honoured to be asked to lead one of the rhymes about Adam and Eve – it was well Robin Hood (good)
On the way – at Victoria Station – there was a stage set up about the new ‘Mamma Mia’ film and the public were able to pose for photos – it seemed rude not to as they gone to so much trouble!
Darcy even drove herself along Victoria Street – and hey, not everyone likes to drive in the Big Smoke!
We had a fab time!
