Since the outbreak of Covid-19, we have been carefully monitoring the situation and the impact on our events.
With the Focus 10k due to take place in only eight weeks, we have made the decision that it will, sadly, no longer take place on the scheduled date. Given the planning required in the lead-up, and without any certainty as to whether it would be safe to go ahead, we – along with our sponsors – feel this is the most sensible decision.
We know that many of you enjoy this event which not only brings people together to get active and have fun, but also enables us as a charity to raise vital funds for young people with complex disabilities. We therefore hope that we can reschedule the Focus 10k (along with the 5k and Mini Mile) to a date later in the year. Over the coming weeks, we will be keeping a close eye on government guidance so that we can make an informed decision.
Should the Focus 10k be rescheduled, your entry ticket will be valid. However, if you decide not to take part for whatever reason, you will be welcome to a refund of your 2020 entry fee. Alternatively, we would be grateful if you would like to donate your entry fee to Chailey Heritage Foundation.
Please bear with us for now, and we will contact you again once we have more information.

The Focus 10K course takes in some of the beautiful park and woodland of the Borde Hill estate, challenge yourself to run up the hills or take it easy and enjoy the scenery! Complete two 5km laps before collecting your medal and race goodies at the finish.
Just 1 lap of our beautiful scenic course is all that stands between you and 5k glory!
Taking place directly before the main races, the Mini Mile gives children the chance to run on a specially shortened route. Children under 8 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
The Focus 10K features a route around the park and woodland of the Borde Hill Estate.
We have a variety of volunteering roles on the day, including course marshals, water station helpers, and finish line team members to hand out those all-important medals.
