Virtual Parents' Coffee Morning

13 May 2021

Virtual Parents’ Coffee Morning on Transition and options after Chailey at age 19 on Thursday 13th May 2021 from 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

Dear Parents and Carers,

We will be hosting a Virtual Transition Coffee Morning and would love to invite you to join us. Since Covid 19 has meant changes to all of our plans, we’ve been looking at alternative ways by which we can deliver our service. With this in mind, we will be holding a ‘virtual’ Transition Coffee Morning via TEAMS on Thursday 13th May 2021 from 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

This is an information-sharing event for parents where you will have the chance to ask questions about topics connected with the transition to Adult Services, and receive expert advice and information in return. As always with our Transition Coffee Mornings, there is a ‘focus’ on a particular topic of interest and relevance to the move to Adult Services, and this time, the focus is on the Futures provision at Chailey Heritage Foundation. This is what we can offer to young people on site at Chailey once they leave school, and up until they reach the age of 25 years. Kerrie Scutt, Susan Duke, Karen Hopkins and Jo Butterworth will be joining us to talk about the different aspects of Futures. Denise Howard and I will be there to talk about the support and information available at Chailey Heritage Foundation, in relation to Future Placement Planning.

As numbers attending will be limited, would you please reply to office@chf.org.uk by Thursday 6th May 2021. Once we receive your acceptance of this invitation, we will send a link to you via which you can join the TEAMS meeting. If you have any questions around the topic please do send them through to the office email address, with your acceptance. Depending on the numbers, we may need to give priority to parents of the oldest children. We do hope you can join us, and look forward to seeing you there!

Kind regards,

Paula Marten
