At Chailey Heritage Foundation, every day is precious. We want to ensure that each young person's time with us is packed full of engaging activities and opportunities to have fun, make friends and achieve their potential.
To do this, we need modern and accessible facilities that give young people with complex disabilities the opportunity to get the most out of life.
The D.R.E.A.M. Centre appeal will enable us to build a leading-edge, accessible indoor activity space for sport, drama and multi-sensory immersive learning experiences. We need to raise £3,100,000 to bring this innovative and unique project to life.
Sports & Games:
The new indoor space will house a court for sports, including wheelchair football and boccia as well as adapted versions of other sports like table cricket. The space will also be home to the powered wheelchair driving school.
Rebound Therapy & Soft Play:
Part of the stage area (concealed under a hydraulic-controlled floor) will house a trampoline for Rebound Therapy.
Immersive Learning Space:
One of the most exciting aspects of the D.R.E.A.M. Centre will be the innovative 4-Dimensional experience zone. As they virtually travel to different countries, our young people will be able to experience the sights and sounds of locations from around the world.
Performance & Celebration:
The new stage area and the large hall will combine to create the perfect performance and celebration arena, allowing everyone to come together and commend achievements in one space.
The D.R.E.A.M. Centre can only happen with your support. With thanks to the generosity of all those who supported us so far, we have already raised the funds to start building work. We now just need to raise the money to equip the facility and reach our target of £3,100,000.
