At Chailey Heritage Foundation, every day is precious. We want to ensure that each young person's time with us is packed full of engaging activities and opportunities to have fun, make friends and achieve their potential.
To do this, we need modern and accessible facilities that give young people with complex disabilities the opportunity to get the most out of life.
Once completed, The D.R.E.A.M. Centre will play a substantial role in every young person’s Chailey Heritage experience, building the foundations to a happy, healthy and fulfilled life and helping every young person in some way towards their own independence.
For Ellie, The D.R.E.A.M. Centre will be a dream come true. It will be jam packed with sporting and physical activities for young people to enjoy, together with opportunities to perform on stage and be transported virtually to exotic location like The Great Pyramids of Egypt.
Ellie’s sporting achievements have already had a profound effect, not only on her health and well-being, but also her confidence. She loves being part of a team and thrives on social interaction and with her competitive streak, dreams of competing at the highest level.
The D.R.E.A.M. Centre began in Autumn 2016 with the launch of a £3.1m fundraising initiative. With thanks to those who supported us so far, we have already raised the funds to start building work.
However, we now need to raise the final £200,000 of our target to complete this innovative project. Can you help us make The D.R.E.A.M. Centre a reality? Thanks to the generosity of one of our supporters, any donation will now be doubled, so please give what you can.
