At Chailey Heritage Foundation, every day is precious. We want to ensure that each young person's time with us is packed full of engaging activities and opportunities to have fun, make friends and achieve their potential.
To do this, we are currently in the process of building modern and accessible facilities that give young people with complex disabilities the opportunity to get the most out of life. Once completed, The D.R.E.A.M. Centre will play a substantial role in every young person’s Chailey experience, building the foundations to a happy, healthy and fulfilled life and helping every young person in some way towards their own independence.
The D.R.E.A.M. Centre Appeal began in autumn 2016 with the launch of a £3.1m fundraising initiative. Thanks to those who supported us, we have reached our target!
We’d like to say a huge thank you to the many trusts, foundations, livery companies, individuals and local businesses who generously supported this appeal.
Construction is well underway and on schedule to complete the build work before the end of April when the fit out will begin. We expect the D.R.E.A.M. Centre to be open for use during the summer term, and we can’t wait to see it.
