At Chailey Heritage Foundation, every day is precious. We want to ensure that each young person's time with us is packed full of engaging activities and opportunities to have fun, make friends and achieve their potential.
To do this, we are currently in the process of building modern and accessible facilities that give young people with complex disabilities the opportunity to get the most out of life. Once completed, The D.R.E.A.M. Centre will play a substantial role in every young person’s Chailey experience, building the foundations to a happy, healthy and fulfilled life and helping every young person in some way towards their own independence.
The D.R.E.A.M. Centre Appeal began in Autumn 2016 with the launch of a £3.1m fundraising initiative. With thanks to those who supported us so far, we have already raised the funds to start building work.
Now that construction has begun, we have been working hard to finalise the equipment and fit out costs. We have been fortunate to have had help from a company who specialises in designing audio visual installations. They have very kindly donated their time to design a bespoke system which will work for the young people who will be using it.
Thanks to our amazing supporters, we are well on the way to raising the additional amount and now need just £50,000 to complete the fit out.
