We took some of my class out to the Depot cinema in Lewes at the end of term and all of the staff there got 10 out of 10 for effort! They didn’t know we were coming and they were all VERY welcoming and keen to make sure we had a good visit. They recommended some accessible films for the young people, where they would be given a bag of props to help immerse them in the films.
Each screening could accommodate 2 young people in wheelchairs and more if they can transfer onto a cinema seat (which are wonderfully big and comfy!)
Tickets are £4 and carers go free!
It is now our new favourite cinema! J P.S. The café is great and the carrot cake and the coffee is exceptionally good!
