The Pathways service is continuing to support individuals in their own homes as far as they are able to, while following national guidance and assessing risk with parents or carers.
The Life Skills Centre (LSC) has been closed to non residents since the middle of March and session leaders have been keeping in touch with users including on-line gym and other sessions, as well as sending out activity packs. However, the LSC is now open for non-resident users who wish to attend but only using the LSC staff for support, to limit the number of external people on site. There will be some checks in place before entering the building e.g. temperature.
Futures’ residents are still able to use the LSC individually or with friends from their bungalow “bubble”.
Social distancing requirements limit the number of Hub sessions each day. Increasing the sessions over the summer will depend on government guidance but plans are in hand to create additional space for the Hub so that, in September, it can be open to more young people.
