On Tuesday 10th April, the three children’s residential bungalows took part in a Bake Off competition. The brief was a chocolate cake, and all three bungalows created unique and creative showstoppers.
The young people from the bungalows helped create the cake mixtures; either by hand with assistance, or using switches to activate mixers. Judging criteria was Visuals, Creativity, and Taste, and was decided upon by Richie Fenwick (Children’s Home Activity Coordinator) and Rosie Smith (Futures Activity Coordinator).
After some tough deliberating, Camelia came out on top, with Brambles and Chestnut awarded joint-second place.
