We were delighted to welcome players from Brighton & Hove Albion FC on 23rd February 2018. The players who visited were Jonah Ayunga and Archie Davies from the Under-23s team plus Aileen Whelan and Jenna Legg from the Women’s team.
As one of BHAFC’s charity partners for this season, the players visited to learn more about the work we do here at Chailey Heritage Foundation.
The players were first given a guided tour and taken through the history of our site in Chailey. They met some pupils from Seymour who were practicing their power driving. After this, the players met Sam Harper, a keen Young Seagull who loves going to BHAFC matches. Sam signalled with his thumb up that he was delighted to meet them all!
Following on from this, the players joined some of the young people in a game of new age curling, which was great fun for everyone. Finally, the players had a look around our accessible gym for young adults and saw first-hand how they push themselves to achieve their targets.
We’d like to thank Jonah, Archie, Aileen and Jenna for taking the time to visit the young people at Chailey Heritage Foundation and we hope you had an inspiring visit. Good luck with the rest of your seasons!
