What We Offer
Through Futures Accommodation we are able to offer short breaks, which consists of an overnight stay. This is available to all young adults from the age of 19 up to 25 years, with complex health and/or physical needs.
During an overnight stay with us, young adults have full access to Chailey Heritage Foundation facilities and planned activities. This can include the hydrotherapy pool, wheelchair football, Life Skills Centre and outings.
The health needs of adults accessing short breaks with us are supported by 24/7 nursing support, which could include specialist training for our support staff, provided by Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust.

How Do I Access It?
Routes to short breaks at Chailey Heritage Foundation can vary depending on funding. We can be approached by parents directly, through local authorities, case managers or continuing health care. Parents are able to fund overnights stays from personal budgets or privately.
All short breaks are subject to funding being in place for both Futures Accommodation and Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust.
If you are interested in accessing short breaks with us, please get in touch to arrange an informal visit so we can show around.
