On Wednesday 25th July, the Children’s bungalows competed in a Ready, Steady, Cook challenge.
The ingredients they were given were meringue nests, dark chocolate, biscuits, cream cheese, a lime, and chilies, and had 2 hours to create a dessert.
The young people got stuck in, helping the staff to mix, mash, stir, and spoon elements of the desserts together.
Judged by Richie Fenwick (Children’s Home Activity Coordinator) and Rosie Smith (Futures Activity Coordinator), it was a very tough decision, as all 3 desserts tasted amazing.
In the end, Brambles just piped their way to victory.
