Christmas may be only a few weeks away, but here’s a scary reminder of Halloween back in October. Futures enjoyed a pumpkin carving competition, which was a perfect excuse to get mucky and squelchy. There was some very skilled carving, but Hannah’s delicate cat design took the top prize, well done Hannah! Then in the evening there was plenty more sensory fun at Nightingale bungalow’s Halloween party with spaghetti, brains and a piñata! The young adults had a costume competition, goodness there certainly were some scary looking people about that evening.
